Inexplicable

John 15:26-27; 16:12-15:

Jesus said to his disciples: “When the Advocate comes whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth that proceeds from the Father, he will testify to me. And you also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning. I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to you the things that are coming. He will glorify me, because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you. Everything that the Father has is mine; for this reason I told you that he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.”

Our bodies are an incredible Design of God – we are His Masterpieces.  Anyone who has ever learned how the human body works even at a simple level, knows that we get to a point of the unexplainable – the inexplicable – with respect to the body.  What powers the human body?  How can the human brain be at least 30 times faster than the world’s best supercomputer while using only the energy required to power-up a lightbulb?  You see, the inexplicable is where God comes in.  Believers know that our Souls are the only things that Power our Bodies.  Believers would also share that our Souls are more Powerful than any earthly energy source and that God’s Light would blind any earthly being who dared to look at Him directly (without His Permission).  Jesus told His Apostles that until they were Blessed by the Holy Spirit, they could not bear the depths of God, Heaven, and all of God’s creation – both past and present.  They couldn’t know the Entire Truth.  Without the Holy Spirit, the Eternal Energy Source, we would be blinded, too.  God’s Awesome-ness is just too much for any of us to fully understand on this side of Heaven.  But that only holds true on this side of Heaven.  If we simply have the Faith to Believe what we can’t fully-see right now, then we will be just fine no matter what we go through in this world – He Promised that we’d be Blessed for doing so (John 20:29).  By first Listening to God and His Word (Jesus Christ), we can then move to Trusting in Him, and then living a life of doing our best to Obey Him.  It’s okay to accept that none of us will ever have all of the answers during our lives – that there are some things that we just won’t ever fully-understand in this life.  So, let’s Listen, Trust, and Obey for now and Believe (per His Son) that God will make all things new when He reveals it all to us on the Other Side!
