There is an incredible song by Amy Grant called, “Breath of Heaven” https://youtu.be/L8_475FKJWQ. The song tells the story of Mary’s acceptance of her Eternal task of being the Mother of God and of all of the world. At maybe 14 years of age, her Faith was so strong as to allow the Holy Spirit (the Breath of Heaven) to come into her Soul and give her both the seed, as well as the strength, to change all of our lives forever. So, when the Breath of Heaven comes upon the Disciples after Jesus’ resurrection, it’s no small thing. When we read the Acts of the Apostles, we learn about how this very “acceptance” of the Holy Spirit into our hearts, minds, and Souls enables us to do Miracles. He makes ordinary people like you and I extraordinary. While it is not easy to do the work of God, the choice is a simple one – yes or no. God takes care of the rest and will one day provide us with Eternal Rest with Him in Heaven. Remember, the “Father has chosen gladly to give you the Kingdom.” (Luke 12:32).
